Parachute

“What in the world are you doing,” asked the principal? “What is that huge colorful round cloth doing in the gym,” he questioned. “Wait, I’ll show you,” he exclaimed! Mr. Southmayd turned and scampered towards his class. Students were guided into a big circle with the huge round colorful parachute. Mr. Southmayd shouted out commands. Students raised the parachute and then started to shake, raddle and roll the chute back down to the floor. I could here ooh’s and aahs from the students.  I took a few pictures looking for the best one. Mr. Southmayd interrupted, “We will show you something better to picture.” Once again, he gathered all the students around the large parachute-one final time. He called out for them to gather up all the balls and place them on the chute.  Then he gave the commands, and the chute began to rise up. “Snap your hands down to your knees,” he shouted! The chute snapped down and the balls went flying. “Again,” he shouted! Oh what fun it was in PE today.
