Garden Club

COME JOIN US!!

Michelle Voelker will be starting her third year of Garden club.  Students and parents will be starting some plants from seed, purchasing some of our favorites such as: broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and eggplants…. There will also be a quite a few new classes scheduled for days that are too rainy or cold. Some activities include taste bud work. Students will experience why they think foods our parents like are tasteless. Michelle said, “Come to the garden club with your child. The more parents, the merrier.”

When: Thursday, 3:30-4:30, starting April 3.

Where: We will meet in the library when we aren’t planting outside

What: Expect to get dirty and maybe muddy, so don’t wear your best clothes

Who: The first 25 students to return permissions. Parents are always welcome

Snacks: Please bring a snack if you think you will be hungry after school. Also, please bring a bottle of water
