Four students from Perkins have had their art pieces chosen to be displayed during the Arts Festival. Eder Gasca (1st grade), Gone Agoth (2nd grade), Delia Macfarland (3rd grade), and Jacob Frencher (5th grade) are the students whose art will be displayed in June. The entire Arts Festival will run from June 27-29 in downtown Des Moines’ Western Gateway Park. If you can’t make the festival, don’t worry, after the festival all NSV artwork will be displayed throughout downtown Des Moines’ Central Library (1000 Grand Ave.). Hubbell Homes will also host a fall reception at the library on August 20 at 6 p.m.
