Walk-A-Thon
I hope everyone will come out this Friday for the 2014 Perkins Walk-A-Thon, Chillin’ with the Penguins. This is a fun event for the whole school! Everyone is invited to come out to walk with their student. Or come anytime to cheer on students as they round the Perkins track. The Walk-A-Thon also the PTA’s fundraiser for school field trips. If you haven’t already, you can turn in Walk-A-Thon donations Friday morning at school.
Every Perkins student will receive a Tie-Dye Pencil.
Raise $25 for a student to receive a pair of Chillin’ sunglasses.
Raise $50 to receive the sunglasses and a Chillin’ with the Penguins Tie-Dye short sleeve T-shirt.
Raise $100 to receive the sunglasses, T-shirt and be entered to win prizes from local sports stores.
The class in each grade also wins a popcorn party from the PTA.
Also, if parents are interested in one of the t-shirts, please include an additional $50 for your t-shirt! Be sure to mark on the envelope that you are wanting and extra shirt and the size you need!
It will be a great day at Perkins!
