DMPS Art Show

Perkins students  look forward to the annual Des Moines Art Show all year (well, at least as far as art class is concerned!). Each child has a piece selected for them by their art teacher (it’s a surprise until the art is mounted). Volunteers help setup students’ art at Capital Square in downtown Des Moines. Art is displayed so that family and friends can peruse the great work our students have created.  It isn’t the end of art class though. We still have several weeks with our kindergarten through fifth grade students. Congratulations, kids. We love your art!
