Cavities Caress the Commencement of Fall

Last Friday marked the official beginning of the fall/winter season at Perkins. Students, teachers, and parents gathered at the school towards the end of the day on Friday, October 18 to celebrate the annual Harvest Party. The party included generous donations of treats and drinks from the PTA, which were much appreciated by students and staff alike. The last hour of school was spent listening to Mr. Southmayd relay bingo instructions over the intercom while random cheers of “BINGO!” could be heard throughout the classrooms. Taking the children home after the party must have been a task, considering the mass amount of sugar that was consumed in that short period of time, but it will provide good practice for the Perkins parents in preparation for Halloween!
