Perkins Takes First in Plow Contest!

Congratulations to the Perkins Art Club for your 1st place prize snow plow. Students worked with Ms. McCoy this month to paint the “Snowy Sky” snow plow for the Des Moines Department of Public Works 12th Annual Snowplow Painting Contest. Judging took place on October 5th on the Court Avenue Bridge. The Perkins Penguins took first in the Elementary category, winning Perkins a $150 prize. We are so proud of our Perkins Art Club!
