Student Council Elections

Student Council Representatives-President: Jacob Frencher; Vice President: Ashlyn Nance; Secretary: Oakley Nance; Treasurer: Charles Walker. Fifth grade students have real world experiences running for and elected office. The categories were President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Students were guided by their teachers on how to plan and implement a successful election. Vibrant posters were created and methodically posted around the school. Speeches were carefully written with humor and reasons they ran for a particular office. Twelve students stood before the Perkins Student Body to deliver their message on why they should be elected. Regardless who wins all of them represented their school and themselves with pride.
