Isaiah Meets Ejim

What an exciting day for the Iowa State Cyclones as they lasso the Oklahoma State Cowboys to win in overtime-85-81. But that wasn’t the most exciting moment at James H. Hilton Coliseum today. Isaiah made the final score. He is surprised with a face to face meeting with is his favorite basketball player-Ejim. It all started with a twitter entry that landed in the hands of ESPN and found its way back to KCCI in Des Moines. During a writing assignment in Mrs. Lundy’s kindergarten class, Isaiah chose to write a “How To” about a for the step process on how his favorite player Ejim makes his dunk shots. This memorable day ended with a victory for the Iowa State Cyclones and autographs from four of the Iowa States Basketball players: Ejim, Niang, Kane, and Long.  Ejim then took the time to sign the paper that Isaiah wrote at school! What a poignant moment for a wonderful little boy.
