Summer is Here!

I came into to school this morning, and for the first time I realized just how big this school is. With no giggles escaping from the classroom doors, no footsteps climbing up and down stairs, no teachers making coffee in the lounge, these hallways seem huge. It’s been quite relaxing with no hustle and bustle around the school, even though I do already miss it. With the peace and quiet Mr. Jan and I have been able to easily clean the place up and get ready for summer school. For us here, school will go on.

To all of the students, staff, family, and friends of our lovely Perkins community I can only hope for one thing. I hope that you take the time to really enjoy your summer! The possibilities for summer fun are endless. Adventureland is opening a new ride, Grey’s lake is beautiful this time of year, restaurants have opened up their patio seating! Feel free to kick back and enjoy the sun (with sunscreen of course!) and we will be waiting for you when you get back this August. Have a great summer!
