Perkins Just Got A Little “Cooler”

Queen Elsa turned Mrs. Brewer’s Kindergarten classroom into a Frozen castle Tuesday afternoon. Courtney Brewer (Kindergarten teacher) entered a contest to win a free princess visit provided by Princess Parties earlier this year. She had to write about why she deserved to have the free princess visit. Among over 380 entries, Courtney’s request to have Queen Elsa visit her classroom was chosen as the winner!

Mrs. Brewer’s students were under the impression that they were going to have a fairytale party. When Queen Elsa showed up at the end of the day, there was nothing but smiles around the room. She asked students about their favorite Disney characters, read a book, sang “Let it Go” with the class, and even posed for pictures. It was quite the treat to open our halls to such a rare character in these parts, and I’m sure our Penguins will never forget it.
