Perkins Academy 2.0

Perkins has been eating all of its fruits and vegetables! It’s been doing such a good job for so long that all of the hard work is finally paying off. From now through the summer Perkins Academy will be growing by over five rooms in size! The additions have already begun, and all of the new rooms will be added to the east side of the building by the basketball courts.

While our school is the best school around, it is not the most spacious. Classrooms have been filling up, teachers have been losing work space, and the hallways have just become too crowded. With our new size we will better be able to accommodate for the growing student population, teachers will have more space to work with students, and the hallways should be much easier to maneuver.

The school will be going through quite the makeover. On top of the new physical features of the building, we will be bringing in some additional staff members as well. By the end of the summer, you won’t even recognize this building anymore! There is something though, that will never change. That is the positive learning environment Perkins embodies so well. While there may be new hallways, there will still be smiles around every corner. While there may be some new teachers, there will still be the same smart students, preparing to go change the world. Perkins will still be Perkins, just with a little more meat on its bones.
