Student Saves Life

On Friday, October 30, 2015, The Perkins Principal was handed an envelope from his PE teacher. He said, “It was given to him by a bus driver.” Within the envelope was a letter. After reading it, the words appeared to render the loquacious principal speechless. The letter read, “I would like to commend [Anastaisa] for her life saving actions on the bus October 29th 2015.  [Anastaisa] recognized a fellow student having an asthma attack, which could not be seen by the bus driver. [Anastaisa’s] quick actions to notify the driver may have been a life saving effort. The bus was diverted off route and the student was delivered to his house where his medication was administered. We thank you [Anastaisa] for your humanitarian effort for fellow students.”
