The school bell times at Perkins will change with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Our new start time is 7:30 AM and we will dismiss at 2:25 PM, with a 75 minute early dismissal on Wednesdays. Congratulations to Michael Derrick of the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching on being named as the next principal of Perkins Elementary School. He will replace Dan Koss when he retires this summer. Click the headline to read more about Mr. Derrick and other new principals named at DMPS.
Beginning in August, all schools at DMPS will have new hours. The new hours at our school will be 7:30 AM to 2:25 PM.
